‘God Alone’: Trump Praises God for Saving His Life After Assassination Attempt
Former President Donald Trump is praising God for saving his life after yesterday’s assassination attempt.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness. Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed. In this moment, it is more important than ever that we stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to win. The nation continues to stand in utter shock as we witnessed live the assassination attempt on the former president.
The FBI released the shooter’s identity as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. He shot at the former president from around 130 yards away on a roof. Crooks was a registered Republican but gave a $15 donation to Progressive Turnout Project, which is about “key Democratic constituencies: young people, minorities, and low-income people.” The group has previously demonstrated their disdain for Trump on social media.
Explosives have now been discovered inside of Crooks’ vehicle that was parked near the rally.
