Marvel Superstar Says He Would Like to Meet Jesus
If you could meet anyone from history, who would you want to meet?
In a recent interview, Marvel movie star, Paul Rudd, said that out of anyone from history he could possibly meet, he would choose Jesus.
“I know my answer: Jesus Christ,” Rudd said.

While his co-stars laughed, mocking the answer, Rudd stood his ground about choosing Jesus to meet.
“Laugh all you want, and it seems like a wrong thing to say,” Rudd said. “He existed, right? So wouldn’t you want to spend some time with Him and go, ‘Jesus, what’s the deal?’”
So, is the “Ant-Man” star closer to Christ?
In an interview with People last year, Rudd discussed how if he could talk to his late father, he’d ask him if God exists.
“So what is there after? Does God exist?” Rudd said. “When you died, did you float above and see everything down? And did you just feel all of your dead relatives coming around? And if so, how far back did that go? Did you stop at the grandparents or did you have great-great-grandparents that you never knew that were like, ‘Mike, finally. Great to see you.’ Wait till you see what this whole things’ about. Get ready for your mind to be blown.”
Rudd also grew up in a Jewish family. Speaking with the Jewish Journal, Rudd described what it was like growing up Jewish.
“[Mine] was bar mitzvahed Reform; we were pretty laid back, but it’s like…I went to synagogue. I know what it’s like to look for matzoh. I know the culture and I know the food. I know what a Haggadah is,” Rudd explained.
Rudd’s background and curiosity with religion, life, death and now Jesus gives us a reason as Christians to pray for his eyes to be fully opened to the truth of the gospel so he can see Christ as the way, the truth and the life.
