Billy Graham Round Table on ‘Larry King’ for National Day of Prayer
A panel of contributors to the recently released Chicken Soup for the Soul: Billy Graham & Me will appear on Larry King Now Thursday to coincide with the National Day of Prayer.
The contributors will discuss Graham’s spiritual role and influence, as well as what society today can learn as we continue to struggle as a nation with tragedy and turmoil. Conversation will center around consistent character traits attributed to Graham by those who shared personal stories in the book—humility, integrity and authenticity.
In addition to King himself, who wrote a tribute to Graham for the book, panelists include actor Kevin Sorbo, Graham’s longtime spokesperson A. Larry Ross and spiritual leader Michael Beckwith.
The group will discuss Graham’s role during more than 60 years on the world stage and his unique influence on both individuals and society at large. They will reflect on the nation’s ongoing need for spiritual guidance and prayer, pointing to the importance of the upcoming National Day of Prayer, held annually on the first Thursday of May.
This year’s honorary chair, pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Church in Riverside, Calif., is also a contributor to the book, where he echoed the group’s thoughts about Graham.
The program will air Thursday at 5 p.m. EST on Ora TV and Hulu.
