3-Year-Old Son of Rodeo Star Taken Off of Life Support
The 3-year-old son of rodeo star, Spencer Wright, has been removed from life support following a tragic accident.
As KWQC reported, on May 21, Wright’s three-year-old son, Levi, got too close to a creek while riding his toy tractor. Levi was swept away down the water for almost one mile. After this tragic accident, Levi was unconscious.
Two days later, he opened his eyes. However, Levi’s consciousness never fully came back, and his MRI showed major brain trauma.
Levi’s mother, Kallie Wright, shared the news on Facebook her family’s decision to take Levi off of life support.
“After several sleepless nights, lots of research, multiple conversations with the world’s best neurologists & millions of prayers we are here in the face of our biggest fear,” Wright wrote. “Levi showed us just enough to buy us time for all of this. We prayed those things were him defying odds & proving to us that he wanted to stay here but we see now he wanted to give us time to find peace with letting him go.”

Wright continued her heartfelt sentiment that her time with Levi was coming to an end, but that she knew he would soon be entering heaven with no more pain or sorrow.
“Here soon I’ll climb into bed with my baby and hold him as he falls asleep for the last time on this earth,” Wright wrote. “I find comfort in knowing he will be restored to the perfect little boy he was & have the ability to do all the things he loves! I know there are angels up there waiting to hold him until I can again! We will miss him every second of every day down here but feel without unwavering doubt this is the best thing we can do for him!”
During this time of loss, let’s pray for the Wright family so that they will experience comfort and peace in the middle of great pain.
