The Missing Color from the Pride Flag, God’s Presence Manifest in the Real Rainbow

There’s a difference between what God calls good and what the world calls good.

In an exclusive interview with Charisma magazine, Rabbi Kirt A. Schneider explained how God’s presence is manifested in the rainbow in a way that contradicts the world’s perception of it, bringing true goodness and beauty in a way that the pride flag could never do.

“The key is to help people understand the glory of the rainbow because God’s people have really backed off on it,” Schneider says. “I mean, they’ve really kind of surrendered the LGBTQ exclusive use of it. But we need to reclaim it because the rainbow, it’s divine. It is a divine symbol that manifests the glory of God in the earth.”

Schneider explained how a rainbow is formed in purity by white light and is divided by raindrops as a prism into seven different colors, the number of God’s perfection. The LGBTQ flag, on the other hand, uses six colors, omitting indigo from the flag. This color is known for being a symbol of integrity, something that is missing from a community built around pride. This warps the perfection of what God had in mind when he created the rainbow, desecrating its purpose to bring Him glory and instead bring man glory.

For Schneider, it’s not just about preserving the integrity of the rainbow, but it’s also about the personal demonstration he supernaturally witnessed as God used the rainbow to reveal His Holy Spirit to him.

“The Spirit of the living God, the Spirit of Elohim appeared above my head,” Schneider described of his supernatural encounter. “He appeared above my head, living, twirling in motion alive, all the colors of a rainbow twirling above my head. I couldn’t help the experience; I couldn’t have stopped it from happening…so I have a very deep connection with the Holy Spirit manifesting Himself in rainbow form because I’ve personally encountered it.”

Schneider’s admiration for God’s rainbow has even found its way onto his newest book’s cover, “Entering His Presence.” With this latest book, it is Schneider’s desire to see other people—including those dealing with the bondages of the LGBTQ lifestyle—to be set free through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and experience true relationship with the Holy Spirit.

“In the book, I outline seven different foundations in my life that the Lord has used to bring me further and further into freedom,” Schneider says. “In this book, ‘Entering His Presence,’ I talk about the themes and the keys that the Lord has used in my soul over 40 years of walking with Him to bring me into greater and greater abundance in Him and the fullness of the Spirit in Him.”
