Shawn Bolz Releases Encouraging Prophetic Word for Will Smith

Living under the spotlight doesn’t leave you a lot of room to make mistakes and learn and grow from them without a barrage of comments from spectators around the world. For actor Will Smith, media coverage of the 2022 Oscars slap hasn’t died down.

One Evangelical prophetic voice has posted to Facebook with a prophetic word for the actor to encourage him amid all of the hateful comments. Shawn Bolz posted on his Facebook that he “heard from God while praying for Will Smith and felt since what happened in his life was so public,” he would release the word on social media.

During the 2022 Oscars, Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock for a joke he made about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. Smith has apologized to the comedian multiple times since the incident, and has expressed that violence is never the answer.

‘Crazy America’: The One Factor Keeping Us From Spiritual Awakening

Whether it’s violence in our streets or perversion in our schools, something needs to change. You know it’s true when shock rocker Ozzy Osbourne wants to leave “crazy” America!

Conviction, Not Cockiness

Sadly, the answer in the minds of most Christians is to bash their liberal state, post condescending memes, send angry tweets or go on bombastic tirades from the pulpit. But spiritual awakenings aren’t birthed in arrogance—they are born in the womb of brokenness. We must begin here! As I’ve said countless times: A spiritual awakening is America’s only hope.

A lack of humility and brokenness is no doubt the reason we’re not experiencing a national awakening. In these critical times, we need boldness, not arrogant tirades; we need conviction not cockiness. Many today think they are bold, but they’re really just brazen. Boldness without humility will get us nowhere—we need both (listen here).

Without God, Military Readiness Will Continue to Suffer

War is an unfortunate byproduct of sin in the world. Since creation, there has been fighting and war. God has used armies for His purposes during these conflicts; from the Israelites claiming the promised land to the Allies defeating the Axis powers during World War II.

A functioning military is a necessary deterrent to the evil forces that inhabit this earth. Often people ask how God can allow something, without taking into account that there is a spirit roaming this earth who seeks to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) everything he comes in contact with.

In biblical examples of military conflict and American military victories up to World War II, there is the evidence of God’s presence on the battlefield. After World War II however, things started changing. {eoa}
