Mario Murillo: The Shift for America Has Come
Numerous prophetic voices have declared a shift is coming. It actually has already begun.
Last weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Flashpoint LIVE and Mario Murillo hosted a two-day crusade called Awake Oklahoma. In October last year, when the planning for this event began, some said the Mabee Center would never fill up. (It holds 10,000 people when maxed out.)
Not only did the arena fill up on both nights, but on the second night we filled the overflow room with another 2,000 people. Approximately 3,000 people came forward to receive Christ, and hundreds, perhaps thousands, were miraculously healed.
Two Homeschool Kids Co-Author Two New Christian Kids’ Books
Not many book signings include a bounce house with free snow cones and popcorn, but this is no ordinary book signing. This is a party celebrating a book made for kids by kids.
Two of the newest Christian children’s book authors are children. They’re also siblings.
Meet 10-year-old Izabella and 7-year-old Caleb Titus Cooper, the homeschooled brother-sister duo who wrote one children’s book each with their dad, Dr. Caleb Cooper. Dr. Cooper is a firebrand revivalist and pastor of New Hope Revival Church in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. (Yes. That’s the town’s real name.)
‘Shut Up, Devil’: Are Too Many Churches Ignoring Evil?
In Ephesians 6, the apostle Paul implores Christians to dress themselves in the “full armor of God” to “stand against the devil’s schemes” (v. 11, NIV).
He illustrates a vivid spiritual battle in which humans must acknowledge the existence of “spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm” (Eph. 6:12, NIV). But what does that look like, why does it matter, and how does one triumph in such a war?
These are particularly pertinent questions in a world in which the topic of evil is often overlooked, downplayed or ignored, even in some Christian churches. It’s a dynamic that troubles Bible teacher Kyle Winkler, who addresses these very subjects in his new book, Shut Up, Devil. {eoa}
