Trump Promises to Defeat Radical Left in Sunday CPAC Speech
Former President Donald Trump spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference, titled “America Uncanceled 2021,” in Dallas, Texas, Sunday, including in his 90-minute speech both attacks on President Joe Biden and vows to defeat the radical left. His key themes included immigration, the media and the 2020 election, which he and many of his supporters see as fraudulent.
Chants of “USA! USA!” greeted the former president as he walked on stage after a half-hour delay.
“With the help of everyone here today, we will defeat the radical left, the socialists, Marxists and the critical race theorists,” Trump said. “We will secure our borders, we will stop left-wing cancel culture, we will restore free speech and free elections, and we will make America great again. Very simple.”
“The people in this room have been some of the staunchest and fiercest supporters … of the greatest political movement in the history of our country,” the former president said. And a CPAC poll also showed the audience’s strong approval for Trump:

Trump did not mince words in his critiques of the Biden administration’s policies, many of which, he said, have undermined the work of his administration, specifically those concerning regulation of industry, immigration and border policies and the leftward swing toward a Marxist ideology.

He also spoke against the “fake news” media and Big Tech, saying they conspired to cancel him while ignoring stories critical of Biden, specifically the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. “Anything negative for Biden or the radical left Democrats they would just suppress,” Trump said.
Last week, Trump filed a class-action lawsuit against several Big Tech companies, including Facebook, Google and Twitter as well as their CEOs. Although he did not spend much time on the possibility of a 2024 repeat run for the White House, he has not ruled it out. {eoa}
