Kim Kardashian Files for Divorce From Kanye West

Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from rapper, record producer, former presidential candidate and Sunday Service founder Kanye West after seven years of marriage in what sources say is an “amicable” split.

The reality star, 40, is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s four children: North, 7; Saint, 5; Chicago, 3; and Psalm, 1, per TMZ.com. A prenuptial agreement is in place, sources say.

West rose to popularity in the Christian community after his well-publicized conversion to Christ followed by the release of his album, Jesus Is King and the launch of Sunday Service, his popular worship service held in various venues including Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church and West Coast music festival Coachella.

Biden Says No Normalcy Till Christmas; Franklin Graham Troubled by Government Control

Life expectancy in the United States dropped an entire year in the first half of 2020 after a wave of coronavirus deaths swept the nation. It fell from 78.8 years in 2019 down to 77.8 years in 2020. It’s the biggest drop since World War II.

The study shows minorities suffered worst, with Black people losing nearly three years and Hispanics almost two.

Meanwhile, extreme winter weather has either halted or delayed vaccine distribution in 34 states. President Biden is pledging most Americans can get a shot by the end of July but says it could be longer before life begins to return to normal.

“By next Christmas, I think we’ll be in a very different circumstance, God willing, than we are today,” Biden said.

“A year from now, I think that there will be significantly fewer people having to be socially distanced, having to wear a mask, but we don’t know. We don’t know for certain, but it is highly unlikely that, by the beginning of the next school year, traditional school year in September, we are not significantly better off than we are today,” he said.

Franklin Graham says Biden’s prediction is just another reason to be concerned that the U.S. government has too much power to control people’s lives in America.

“We want this president—every president—to do well, but our nation is facing serious problems. @POTUS Biden indicated that the COVID restrictions could go on through the end of the year. It should concern all Americans that our government has this much control over our lives,” Graham tweeted.

Stephen Strang: My Personal Tribute to Apostle Fred Price

I am grieving over the death of my longtime friend Frederick K.C. Price, who was one of the greatest men I have ever interviewed. Called “Apostle,” he began one of the best-known Christian TV programs—Ever Increasing Faith—and built the 10,000-seat FaithDome in Los Angeles. He died in February at age 89, sadly due to complications of the coronavirus.

When I called his daughter Angela Evans to offer my condolences, I asked if she would do a Strang Report podcast. I wanted her perspective as a member of the family on her father’s life and legacy. It was one of the best podcasts I’ve done. We laughed, we cried and in our own way we said how much he meant to us. You can listen to it here.

I just finished my column for the April issue of Charisma, which goes to press today. I wanted to give new readers a perspective on this great man of God. I told how I’d seen Price on TV in the early 1980s, then attended a leaders’ meeting where I got to know more about him as I listened to him talk openly about the issues being dealt with. I was barely 30 and eager to learn, so I went to him privately and asked him questions. He took time to have a cup of coffee with me and told me his story: He started with nothing except lots of debt and had very little success in the ministry. His ministry was transformed after someone gave him books by John Sherrill, John Osteen and Don Basham.
